South Church is famous for our food! We serve the best versions of traditional favorites, using recipes passed down for generations and fresh, local ingredients.
We’ve done sit-down meals for decades, and during COVID started offering to-go meals, which have been so successful we’ve continued to offer them.
We donate a portion of the proceeds from many of our meals to the Amherst Survival Center and the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.
Our usual schedule:
- January: Comfort Food
- February: Lasagna Dinner
- March: Menu Varies
- April: Pulled Pork Dinner
- June: Spring Supper, offered sit-down and to-go
- August: Chicken BBQ, to accompany the Amherst Community Band concert on the South Common
- October: Roast Pork Supper, offered sit-down and to-go
- November: Lunch offered during the Sleighbell Fair
