We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month and during special services throughout the year.
Our communion table is open to all no matter where you are on your faith journey. As we gather for this meal, we open ourselves to the presence of Jesus. Together we recall God’s loving acts, we experience our oneness in Christ and hope for a time when all will be fed.
Our tradition is to have the Deacons serve the bread, and then we eat together once everyone is served. Likewise, cups are served to everyone and then we drink together.
We offer grape juice instead of wine, and the bread we share is gluten free. It is a great honor to serve one another, to draw close to Christ’s presence, to give thanks for our community, and to pray for wholeness and sustenance for all God’s people.
